He listed his item as guaranteed 100% authentic and he told me that moneymax quoted his item $600+ a year back so I trusted it’s an authentic item. I admit I check the item for its condition during the deal and it’s all good except that after few days some of my friends told me the item is not an authentic one so I message the seller and he admitted he only concluded it’s authentic based on the prints, etc and he agreed to refund a portion but he went MIA after that. $50/$200 is not acceptable.
I did not mention anything about authenticity from the start. I sold the item on the basis of it being a heirloom. I ALLOWED you to inspect the item before dealing and you took it in. For that, you had already fulfilled the terms of a sale under the sale of goods act. Out of goodwill, I had decided to give you a partial refund, seeing that you were rather polite and bought it without proper knowledge. I’m busy and working. Please don’t expect IMMEDIATE replies. I’ll give you a $50 refund.
