The seatpost had seized and I'm still trying to resolve it. The front wheel has lateral play & requires a change of bearings after a proper check, despite being advised during the meet-up that it just needs tightening. The front brake was changed to an aftermarket model and modified. Only after removing the cushion seat cover, it was revealed that the leatherette of the stock saddle has cracks.

seller was accomodating to the timing. unfortunately, the bike had screeching brakes that were ineffective and a front wheel that was misaligned, leading to more headaches and additional repair costs; these issues were not disclosed beforehand in the description of the item. would appreciate it if the seller was more transparent about the issues faced by the bicycle.
